GapScore Awarded $400,000 NCI STTR Grant
GapScore Awarded $400,000 NCI STTR Grant GapScore has been awarded a $400,000 Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to advance its ssDNA gap-
based technology.
The award supports GapScore’s work to translate DNA gap biology into a clinically applicable biomarker for predicting cancer treatment response. The project will evaluate the ability of GapScore’s technology to identify tumors with therapeutically relevant ssDNA gaps and further establish its potential for precision oncology.
This federal funding represents an important step in translating the foundational science behind GapScore into a technology designed for clinical application.
